Announcement by the European Broadway Project

Public Safety Communications Europe (PSCE) a partner organisation of BAPCO, has announced that BroadWay has been selected by the European Commission and will implement a Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) project with the purpose to develop innovative technologies that will enable a pan-European Ineroperable Broadband mobile system for PPDR.
A group of "11 buyers" from 11 countries is established and completed by a further 49 supporting public safety organisations. This large group of practitioners and procurers will ensure that the innovative solutions procured fit their needs and complement their national plans for transition to broaband for public safety.
The project should be officially kicked-off in May and a first presentation will be given at the next PSCE Conference in Brussels on 23-24 May 2018.
