Sure Antennas Announces Partnership with Airmax Remote

British APCO Silver Corporate Member Sure Antennas, a leading provider of high-performance vehicle antenna solutions, is thrilled to announce a partnership with Airmax, a primary supplier of vehicle telematics to critical fleets.

As part of this strategic collaboration, Airmax now endorses the integration and use of Sure Antennas’ products for all blue light vehicles equipped with their telematics systems creating a common standardisation for in-vehicle equipment.

Gavin Beach, Managing Director of Sure Antennas, expressed his excitement about the new partnership, commenting,

“We are delighted to partner with Airmax, a leader in vehicle telematics known for their strong reputation in the blue light and public safety sector.” Richard Perham, Managing Director of Airmax, echoed this enthusiasm, noting that the collaboration with Sure Antennas represents “a significant step forward in our dedication to upholding national standards and creating a common vehicle architecture”.

Benefits of Partnership

Sure Antennas’ products are designed to deliver superior signal strength and optimal performance, which is crucial for the blue light sector handling mission-critical situations. Leveraging these high-performance antennas will improve the time to ‘Time To First Fix’ (TTFF) for Airmax’s systems ensuring the reliability and enhanced accuracy of data-driven insights. Sure Antennas can also provide a single-hole antenna solution, which simplifies antenna placement and can result in cost reductions.

Discussing the benefits that it will bring to the end user, Richard commented,

“By integrating Sure Antennas, we ensure that our clients benefit from the best in connectivity and reliability, enhancing the overall performance of our systems.”

Further advantages resulting from this partnership include:

  • Reduced radiated emissions within the vehicle.
  • Improve GSM connectivity and GPS sensitivity.
  • Improved location accuracy in dense urban areas.
  • Consolidation and utilisation of existing in-vehicle technology will reduce the overall whole-life cost of a vehicle.
  • Retained use of legacy equipment in the vehicle such as Airwave and CCTV functionality.

Another key driver for the partnership between Sure Antennas and Airmax is innovation, as conveyed by Gavin’s comment,

“This collaboration enables us to utilise our expertise and years of R&D in antenna technology to enhance vehicle performance throughout Britain. Together, we are committed to advancing innovation.”
