BAPCO Chief Operating Officer
Dear Member and Colleague,
British APCO (BAPCO) was launched in 1993 and is the leading UK based association for all professionals using or developing public safety technology.
To help take us on the next part of our journey we are looking for a special person to join us, on a part time basis, as Chief Operating Officer. Your role will be to manage the association on a day-to-day basis and provide support to the President and Board of Directors. You will need to share their vision to remain at the forefront of the drive to improve emergency service and public safety communications and information technology for everyone's benefit both in the UK and further afield.
You will find detailed information on the role in the attached job description and person specification. It is likely that you are already a member of BAPCO, and either are or have recently been working in the field of critical communications as either a user or supplier.
The role is not just about managing the association and its respective conferences, exhibitions, and publications. It is about supporting the President and Directors in promoting both the association and UK industry at our partner events around the world.
